Tax Manager

Full-time/ Part-time

Horizon is now looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join the Finance team to lead and manage multiple operations of the tax practice area and to deliver quality tax services.

Key Responsibility

  • Global tax compliance and preparing direct/indirect tax returns
  • Responsible for global tax strategy and planning including internal and external stakeholder management
  • Managing external relationships with advisors and authorities
  • Preparing tax disclosures and commentary for internal and external financial reporting
  • Preparation and optimisation of R&D tax credit and patent box along with other tax incentive schemes.
  • Ownership of transfer pricing strategy, documentation and implementation
  • Indirect Tax Review and reporting
  • Other responsibilities as required

Qualification, knowledge and key skills

  • 3 years post qualification experience
  • Fully qualified ACA or ACCA or CIMA
  • Excellent Excel Skills
  • Excellent Communication Skills


  • Experience of R&D tax credit regimes
  • Experience of overseas taxation

You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment and on multiple projects with constantly changing priorities and deadlines, be well organized, self-motivated and have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
