Product Marketing Specialist (Neuroscience)

Role and Responsibilities

This newly created Product Marketing Specialist role will be based in our office in St Louis, MO and will support our in vivo product and service portfolio, in addition to other cross category campaigns.  You will have experience in, or be comfortable with, immersing yourself in the literature and producing high quality content and marketing campaigns targeted to this research area.

The Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for all in- and outbound marketing; clearly communicating the Horizon advantage and technical benefits of the product offering.   Working closely with the Product Manager you will:

  • conduct market research for existing and new segments (market size, share, value proposition testing and pricing sensitivity analysis)
  • design and execute marketing campaigns (producing web and print based marketing collaterals)
  • devise product launch plans and communicate with internal stakeholders
  • enrich the profile of existing contacts and grow the customer contacts database through lead generation and lead nurturing activities
  • input into conference planning activities

About You

You hold a BSc in Biology/Neuroscience (or related scientific subject) and have 2-3 years’ experience in a Marketing capacity with relevant qualifications and/or attendance at appropriate training courses.

Experience in a commercial environment is highly desirable.

Working remotely from the rest of the Marketing team based in Cambridge UK, and alongside a locally based Product Manager, you will be a highly motivated self-starter who is passionate about combining scientific knowledge with marketing excellence.

You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment and on multiple projects with constantly changing priorities and deadlines, be well organized, self-motivated and have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
