Horizon Discovery is a leading provider of research services and tools to support the development of personalized medicines. We are seeking twoa highly motivated and innovative Strategic Alliance Leaders with a background in research services to join a dynamic Commercial team. The roles will be operating from a US East and West Coast base. The team drives horizontal service partnerships that increase deal size, retention of customer through Pharma value chain and enhance Horizon's reputation.
Develop and customize value propositions for each customer along with Product Manager
Offer customized proposals to customers, each deal may be different than other deals
Broad understanding of drug discovery process and HOW the HZD products/services provide SOLUTIONS
Develop and present proposals to customers in conjunction with other team members (Prod. Management, HZD senior management)
MAKES INQUIRIES to senior levels at customers, rather than primary business being driven THROUGH inquiries made to HZD
Imperative that this team “looks beyond” Stage 1 when approaching a customer and developing account into future revenue
Qualification, knowledge and K
Good fundamental understanding of drug discovery process, from basic functional biology to implementation of personalised healthcare.
Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and master highly technical concepts and articulate them and their benefits well to others.
Time management skills, the ability to prioritize tasks to deliver primary objectives.
Presentation and networking skills
Understanding of pipeline business
Strong business/commercial sense
Entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to take ownership of their accounts/inquiries/proposals to drive them to conclusion
Experience in relevant life sciences sales management
